Self-produced Chicago artist Silas Short released his first single 'Cloudy Jane' on Stones Throw a couple of weeks back. After hearing the delights of 'Cloudy Jane', we're thrilled to hear his newly released tune, 'Queen Queen of Paisley'; both tracks are from Short's debut EP on Stones Throw, coming some time this year. Silas Short's 'Queen of Paisley' feels lazy and gentle like a Saturday morning. The beat is relaxed and uncomplicated whilst Silas plays a guitar riff reminiscent of morning songbirds. The organ invites a warmness for Short to sing over; his voice is feather-light and jazz-inflected like that of Billie Holiday. 'Queen of Paisley' is produced by Silas Short & Jackson Shepard.
